New to the Spa Six Hours 2025 programme: the Classic GP – Historic F1 Pre-1986 joins the line-up and promises to delight drivers, teams and spectators. Thought of first and foremost as a race for enjoyment, without any championship pressure, this rendez-vous will see classic single-seaters back on the thrilling Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

Why “Pre-1986”? Because those years shaped a bold, intuitive and almost handcrafted Formula 1. Turbo engines with strong character, ground-effect wings cars, and an authentic passion for the machine. A time when every lap was an adventure and every car had its own signature.

Among the expected models: Arrows A3, Brabham BT49, Lotus 77, McLaren MP4/1B, Williams FW07C… to name just a few.

It is a chance to see historic F1 in a rawer form, up close. And a fine promise for all who believe a historic single-seater is above all made to be driven. In short: a step back in time, legendary F1 cars, and a circuit that needs no further praise.
